WHAT IS ETHARA GO - AL DHAFRA CHALLENGE?

The ETHARA GO - AL DHAFRA CHALLENGE is an exciting STEM competition exclusively for students in the Al Dhafra region where winners will have the chance to attend the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It is free to enter and can be done at school or at home.

It serves as an entry level version of our Formula Ethara program and is therefore a great starting point for those new to the program or for those wishing to extend their STEM learning outside of the classroom. The program is intended to be undertaken by individual participants rather than in teams however, some elements could be worked on collaboratively. 

Participants will design and build their own mini race car using our downloadable car kit and complete a portfolio using the downloadable template. The portfolio takes participants through the design process of creating their own team identity, designing a uniform, undertaking car research, and designing and evaluating their car. There are also a wide range of extension tasks to take STEM learning to the next level. 

The top entries will be invited to an in-person finals event to see whose car is the fastest and who will be crowned the 2024 champion. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Anyone living in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi aged 11 and under can participate.
